My wife and I went and saw the movie Food Inc. WOW what a movie, it really makes you thing about where you food comes from and how it is processed. To me the star of the show was a farmer named Joel Salatin. Joel and his family raise pastured livestock at Polyface farm in Swoope VA. He has also written several books about local food and grass-fed meat. After we say the movie I had to run out and get his newest book Everything I Want to Do is Ilegal: War Stories from the Local Food Front. There is another movie out Fresh New thinking about what we are eating. |
